Support The International 3

BECOME A PATRON OF THE INTERNATIONAL 3 AND MAKE YOUR MARK ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF ART, ARTISTS AND ARTS ORGANISATIONS ACROSS THE REGION.

As a Patron you will enable The International 3 to continue to support the artistic and career development of emerging and mid-career artists through a programme of high quality visual art exhibitions and events, presented both on and off-site. You will support the commissioning of new work, the presentation of solo and group exhibitions, the commissioning of critical essays, an artists’ talks programme and The International 3’s participation in national and international art fairs which helps us to advance artists’ careers. With a special focus on supporting emerging artists from our region, The International 3 is committed to regional talent development and to raising the profile of the region as a place where world class contemporary art is made and presented. As a not for profit organisation all income received is directed towards these key objectives.

As a Patron you will also support a Collector Development programme, devised and delivered by freelance consultant, Mark Doyle (Former Head of Collector Development, Contemporary Art Society North) in collaboration with The International 3. This work will advance The International 3’s remit to nurture a locally based market for contemporary art and will add to our other activity in this area such as the role we play as part of the team developing and delivering The Manchester Contemporary art fair. The Collector Development programme will comprise of : 6 x daylong events the purpose of which will be to gain a deeper access to and understanding of the artists and organisations that make up our regional visual art ecology, the presentation of a third edition of Art in Home, where galleries are invited to curate an exhibition at the invitation of a series of guest home-owners and a guided trip of Venice Biennial (subject to interest).

This is a time-sensitive request as up until late June 2015, The International 3 is a recipient of a Catalyst match funding grant from Arts Council England where for every £1.50 we receive in private giving from individuals, businesses or Trust and Foundations, we can draw down £1 of confirmed match funding.

PROJECT PATRONS / £100 and above  

In recognition of your support, Project Patrons are:

  • given priority booking and free attendance (subject to capacity) to the 6  day long collector development events described above. (For other activity such as Art in Home and international trips there will be a charge to cover costs).
  • named on the gallery website in the About section and named in the information displayed in the gallery for their supported projects.
  • invited to general private views at The International 3.

 

PROJECT PATRONS PLUS / £500 and above

In recognition of your support Project Patrons Plus are:

  • given priority booking and free attendance (subject to capacity) to the 6 day long collector development events described above. (For other activity such as Art in Home and international trips there will be a charge to cover costs).
  • invited to the VIP openings of your supported projects.
  • named on the gallery website in the About section and named in the information displayed in the gallery for your supported projects.   
  • Additionally in recognition of your support the first 10 Project Patrons + to confirm their support, will receive a limited edition print by artist Hondartza Fraga that is being specially produced for The International 3’s next exhibition. The print will feature a drawing from her #365Globe Series.

FOUNDER PATRONS / £2000 and above  

 In recognition of your support Founder Patrons are:

  • given a limited edition art work from one of the artists whose activity you have supported throughout the year in recognition of your support.
  • given priority booking and free attendance (subject to capacity) to the 6  day long collector development events described above. (For other activity such as Art in Home and international trips there will be a charge to cover costs).    
  • offered an additional bespoke programme of activities and events that will enable you to engage first hand with the artistic work that you are helping The International 3 to support including patron specific studio visits, artists’ talks and patrons’ receptions. 
  • named on the gallery website in the About section and named in the information displayed in the gallery for your supported projects.
  • invited to all VIP previews at The International 3 and offered VIP invitations to the art fairs that The International 3 participates in. (subject to availability).
  • sent personal email updates at least 4 times per year and an annual summary of the outcomes and impacts of your support.
